Ruban is one of our young volunteers, who visits during school time as part of his educational programme and recently Ruban did some fundraising for NCAR by doing a Sponsored Mile swim and raised £258 – Thanks Ruban

“Going to this wonderful place always brings me so much joy and excitement, and even on days when I’m feeling a little down, it never fails to lift my spirits and put a smile on my face. I can’t wait to keep going and maybe even land a job there one day!

Walking the dogs along the road is such a peaceful and relaxing activity, and playing with them in the paddocks is an absolute blast – I love seeing them wag their tails and have so much fun. Plus, by spending time with them, I’m learning how to handle them correctly, which makes me feel more confident and happy.

And let’s not forget about the hot chocolate at Doris’s bunker – it’s simply divine! Overall, this place is such a source of happiness and positivity for me, and I feel so grateful to have it in my life.”
