Our Wishlist – What We Currently Need

At North Clwyd Animal Rescue, we are incredibly grateful for the continued generosity of our supporters. Thanks to your kindness, (especially last Christmas), we are well stocked on many items at the moment.

At the moment, we are only in need of the following donations:

Dog & Cat Food Donation

We urgently need:

• Dry dog food
• Wet dog food
• Sensitive formulas
• Raw food
• Adult food
• Puppy & kitten food

Quality pet food donations help us provide the right nutrition for every animal in our care — from young puppies and kittens to senior pets with sensitive stomachs.

Horse Care Donations

To support the horses at our rescue centre, we are currently looking for:

• Hay
• Pony nuts
• Hay nets
• Buckets
• Headcollars

Your horse care donations make a direct difference in keeping our rescued horses healthy, fed, and comfortable.

Dog Treats

We welcome:

• Training treats
• Long-lasting chews

Please note: no rawhide, please.

Treats are essential for positive reinforcement training and enrichment for the dogs in our care.

Cleaning Supplies

Maintaining a clean and hygienic rescue environment is vital. We currently need:

• Disinfectant
• Brushes
• Mops
• Detergent
• General cleaning products

Cleaning item donations help us keep our kennels, catteries, and stables safe and sanitary for all animals.

Items We Are Currently Well Stocked On

Following your incredible generosity at Christmas, we are overflowing with toys, bedding, and leads.

For now, please consider donating these items to another local animal charity while we use up our current supply.

Donation Guidelines

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our animals, we kindly ask that all donated items are:

• New, or
• Like new / undamaged (no chew marks, no broken or sharp edges, and in full working order), and
• Washed and disinfected

If you’re unsure whether to donate something, please ask yourself:

“Would I use this for my pet?”
“Would I buy this?”

If the answer is yes, it’s probably suitable for donation.

How Your Donations Help

Every bag of food, every bucket, every bottle of disinfectant directly supports the animals at North Clwyd Animal Rescue. Your donations allow us to focus our funds on veterinary care, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts.

You can drop these items off at our rescue centre at Trelogan or at our charity shops for them to pass on to us (bundle them together and make it clear that they are to be sent to the NCAR Trelogan rescue centre)
