Why North Clwyd Animal Rescue is needed
Every year we help unwanted, abandoned or neglected animals find shelter, love and new homes. We rehome over 1500 animals every year and we provide shelter for the ones who are patiently waiting to find their forever home.
We currently have over 80 dogs, 100 cats, 20 rabbits and 20 horses in our care and we aim to find each and everyone of them a loving forever home and give them a second chance to happiness.
Sadly that’s not the end of our story. As well as an overwhelming number of animals in our rescue centre we have over 500 dogs on our waiting lists to come in to our care, the highest amount it has ever been.
This has increased dramatically over the past year, so we are are needed more than ever to ensure all these animals are cared and loved for as they deserve to be!

We NEVER put an animal to sleep
Unless they are suffering and will not recover or they are unsafe to rehome after a behaviourist has worked with the animal at length. Once we take in an animal, it will remain with us until a new home is found.
