Support Dogs like Elliot

On a wet and windy day in November, Elliot arrived with us as a stray in an extremely emaciated condition.

Barely weighing 8kg, every bone was visible and he barely had the strength to stand. It was clear Elliot would not have survived another day alone in the harsh Welsh countryside.

Thanks to our incredible on-site Vet team, Elliot was stabilised and started his road to recovery. As well as being extremely malnourished, Elliot was also struggling with diarrhoea, a chronic skin condition and an ear infection.

He was terrified of everything and it was clear that Elliot has previously had to fight for his life, showing fear reactions to other dogs and food guarding issues.

Every day Elliot is gaining a little bit more trust back in the world, with help from his caring fosterer Adam. With patience and love, Elliot is becoming the sweet and cuddly boy we know he truly is, and is beginning to heal both physically and emotionally.

How your donation helps

And Elliot is not alone. With over 80 dogs and 100 cats in our care, it costs over £1,000 each day to keep our doors open.

And with no government funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of people like you. Your support makes it possible for us to provide the food, shelter, veterinary care, and love every animal in our care deserves.

Without your help, animals like Elliot would have nowhere to turn.

No animal deserves to be hungry and unloved

Every donation, no matter the size, will provide a warm meal, cosy bed and love to animals who don’t have a home.
