GREAT NEWS – WE’RE REOPENING!

We’re delighted to share some wonderful news with you all — we are now in a position to reopen from Saturday 12th September!

Our puppies are doing incredibly well and making an amazing recovery. They still have a long journey ahead of them and won’t be ready for adoption for a while, but we are so relieved that the virus has been contained and that the veterinary treatment they have received has worked so well.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our amazing and dedicated team. Sarah, Rachel and our vets in particular have worked tirelessly throughout what has been an incredibly difficult time. We are also so grateful to the rest of our team, who have continued to give all of the animals the extra love, care and attention they’ve needed.

We’re also pleased to confirm that adoption enquiries will now continue as normal. If you are interested in offering one of our animals a loving forever home, you can once again get in touch with the team as usual.

Doris’s Bunker will remain closed for the time being due to staffing and holidays. We’ve taken the opportunity to give it a well-deserved refresh and deep clean, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back there in October.

All of our registered volunteers are welcome to return from this weekend. We have postponed new volunteer inductions until later this month to give us a little time to settle back into some normality.

Our Waggfest event will remain postponed until Saturday 24th October. With parvovirus currently in the area, we feel this is the safest and most responsible decision for everyone, particularly the animals in our care.

Please also be aware that the top car park and paddocks will remain closed this week as an additional precaution against cross-infection, so please be mindful when parking during your visit.

Finally, we cannot thank you all enough for your patience, understanding and continued support. It has been a very difficult time for everyone, but moments like these remind us just how lucky we are to have such an incredible team and community behind NCAR.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us through this. ❤️????

We can’t wait to welcome you back from Saturday!
