What's involved

We have vacancies to help out in the Sensory Garden.  This is a quiet area for the dogs to relax in and have a good roam around off lead, there’s only one entrance and a gate to shut to say that it’s occupied.  There are lots of different areas in there, like the sand pit, bark pit, tunnels, grass, different levels, plants to sniff and areas to sit in and just be quiet.

It’s also a memorial garden for some of our ex-NCAR residents.

We need help with weeding, painting, grass cutting and general tidying up.

If you could spare a few hours a month all year round we could organise to keep the garden tidy and well maintained for the dogs to enjoy.  There are tasks available to suit all abilities.

We do have a small stock of garden tools and a lawn mower which are available for use.
