Volunteer Dog Walker

What's involved
This would involve whatever time you could spare. It would be useful if you could volunteer for a couple of hours at a time. Dog walking can be done all day from 8.30am until 4.30pm.
Some dogs need walking to the end of the drive and back, others can be taken along the lane and others can be taken on longer walks. This gets them out of their kennels for longer, helps them relieve stress and helps the staff.
Staff always tell you about the dog and full training will be given about the correct way to hold the dog, control the dog around the Rescue and the rules about site etiquette.
You will need to wear sensible clothing and good, sturdy walking shoes or boots.
