North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a charity organisation that provides rescue and rehoming services for domestic animals, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. We also provide education and outreach programs to schools and community groups on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

Promoting responsible pet ownership

We believe that education is an essential component of our mission to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. We offer a range of educational programs and services to schools and community groups, such as school visits, workshops, and talks, where we aim to teach children and adults about the importance of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

Engaging Activities

The NCAR team works closely with schools and teachers to tailor the educational programs to the specific needs of the school and the age group of the children. We use interactive and engaging activities and materials to make the learning experience enjoyable and memorable.

Through their educational programs, NCAR hopes to instill a love and respect for animals in children and encourage them to become responsible pet owners in the future.

A better future

By promoting responsible pet ownership, we aim to reduce the number of abandoned and neglected animals in their community and create a better future for both animals and humans.
