Where the money goes

North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity in the UK that rescues and rehomes cats, dogs, and other small animals. The money you donate to NCAR goes towards supporting our work in the following ways:

  1. Animal Care: The majority of the funds go towards providing shelter, food, medical care, and rehabilitation for the animals. This includes vaccinations, microchipping, spaying/neutering, and any necessary veterinary treatments.
  2. Staff and Volunteers: NCAR employs a team of staff who are responsible for the day-to-day care of the animals, as well as volunteers who assist with various tasks such as dog walking, cleaning, and fundraising.
  3. Facilities and Equipment: NCAR needs to maintain and upgrade its facilities, such as kennels, catteries, and animal exercise areas. They also require various equipment and supplies to care for the animals, such as food, bedding, and toys.
  4. Education and Outreach: NCAR also provides educational programs and outreach to promote responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of adopting from rescue shelters.

Overall, your donation to NCAR goes towards ensuring that the animals in their care receive the best possible care, and that they are given the opportunity to find loving forever homes.
