Monday 27th June

It was a busy weekend at the rescue and another busy day today. On Saturday cats Pippy & Gizmo and dogs Jasmine and Ellie all got reserved. Also on Saturday Matty from the kennels and Dappy, Coda, Pasha, Cora and Cooper from the catteries all headed off to their new homes.
On Sunday dogs Bruno and Jack, and Pumpkin the cat all were officially adopted and went to live with their new families.
Today little Cuddles the cat has been reserved and we have said farewell to Boysie the ginger cat, and Toby the collie as they both went to their new homes.
We wish all of the animals that have been adopted over the last few day, the best of luck in the new homes and hope they have long and happy lives with their new families.
We are still busy getting ready for the dog show this Sunday – I hope you have all got it marked on your calendars as we are hoping for a fantastic turnout for all the fun classes. We really do enjoy seeing past residents returning, looking healthy and happy, and are looking forward to having lots of cuddles with them this Sunday. The fun starts at 11am and their is a list of all the classes on our website, so take a look to see which ones your canine companion can enter. There will also be lots of stalls so come along and treat you and your dog(s) to lots of goodies.
We will also have our raffle tickets on sale – only £1 a ticket with 1st prize of £1000 so its definitely worth having a go!
If anyone can spare any time between now and Sunday, we would be grateful for some extra pairs of hands to come along and help (even an hour can make a huge difference to us). If you can help, please give the rescue a ring to let us know when you are free, or email jeansellers@ncar.org.uk – we would be really grateful for any help that you can give us.
