NIA Cooke, Owner of finer forage

Nia is passionate about helping owners to make the correct feeding choices for their animals.
Nia’s Equine career began as a Podiatrist, studying for her Diploma in Equine Podiatry and going to establish Pony Pedicures equine podiatry practice.
She loved this work but became really interested in how nutrition affected hoof and overall health. So she then took a BTEC Professional Diploma in Equine Nutrition, which she completed with a distinction. She then attended Aberystwyth University, studying Equine & Veterinary Bioscience, which she graduated with a First class BSc (Hons).
Nia works as a nutritionist, helping owners formulate appropriate diets for their horses and ponies. She also formulates feed and supplements. Nia is due to complete her Masters degree in Animal Nutrition in summer 2023.
