Corona Virus Update from North Clwyd Animal Rescue

By 17th March 2020 News

Coronavirus statement from Ncar

As everybody is aware we have very uncertain times ahead and we wanted to reassure you that our first priority is the care of our animals, staff, volunteers and our customers.

Please follow all government advice if you are feeling ill and consider others who may be more susceptible to illness.

Whilst we continue to adhere to strict hygiene standards, there are a couple of other things we could consider to keep us all safe… We can take contactless payments, card payments so we can reduce the handling of cash. We would like to ask that you wash your hands and use hand sanitizer during your visit and more often than normal.
Also if you are coming to volunteer, if you can bring your own slip lead with you and this can be used by you only to help any cross infection. We of course are here to help you in anyway we can and we rely on your kindness and continued support and hopefully soon we can get back to normal.

We would like to take this opportunity to ask our wonderful volunteers if the worst came and any of our staff did come down with the virus or symptoms and had to stay off work. That we can have an emergency contact list of volunteers that we can call on in short notice to come to the rescue and give us a hand with the animals. If you would be willing to do this please email volunteering@ncar.org.uk, call our reception on 01745 560546 to leave your details or pop in to reception and ask to be added to the list. Finally, we want to wish you all the best, stay safe and if you do come down with the virus or any symptoms please stay safe and self isolate and follow the government guidelines.

Keep safe everyone!
