Meet Toby, he is a very handsome young lad! He does have a liver shunt which makes it hard to determine his life expectancy. However, his condition is currently managed through medication and a strict diet, which the rescue will support in his new home.

Though he is a loveable lad with the staff and people who he knows, he does exhibit some challenging behaviours, such as separation anxiety, and has become very nippy and on occassions this has resulted with him biting if he gets too attached to someone, so numerous visits will be required to fully understand him and work with our behaviour team on site over time.

Despite being placed in a home, he was returned due to these behaviours, so an experienced home is essential for Toby. To help address these issues, he requires a strict environment with well-defined boundaries and someone willing to put the time in to provide him with a safe home. So we ask before you apply for Toby, please do some research regarding his health condition and weather you are able to support his needs.
