Star is a stunning girl who arrived into our care as a stray. Star is a very sweet girl who has evidently not had the best start in life. She has numerous scars on her body but we unfortunately have no background history on her whatsoever. Star was understandably very scared on arrival but has been growing in confidence each day and showing us more of her personality. Star walks really well on lead and hardly pulls unless there is something that she really wants to go and sniff or see. She does enjoy her walks and exploring new places and does have quite high energy levels. She will need plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation to ensure that her needs are met. She really enjoys going off lead in the paddock at NCAR, she was initially quite scared in there but soon started to show us her more playful side. Due to the lack of background history of how she got all of her scars, we would prefer her to be in a home as the only pet. Socialisation outside of the home is definitely recommended in order for her confidence and social skills to continue to increase. Due to her timid nature and the fact that she can be easily overwhelmed at times, she is looking for a home with sensible older teenagers 16+ who can respect her space if she requires it. We are that sure with plenty of time and patience she will become a lovely dog and amazing companion.
