Roxy is a very sweet girl who has come into our care due to no fault of her own. She did come into us with her brother Zac but unfortunately they had a bit of a falling out so they are now looking to be homed seperately. She is looking for an active family as despite her age she is still quite active and really enjoys going on her walks and exploring new places. She can be quite strong on lead to start with but will settle down once she gets going, she would benefit from further lead training which the staff here could help and advise with. She has previously lived with young children but due to her being on the slightly older side, she is looking for a home with sensible children 12+ who can respect her space if she requires it. When off lead her recall is quite poor, especially when she has a toy so we would recommend a long line to use whilst doing recall training with her. She gets on well with other dogs when she is out and about and tends to ignore them, but she is ideally looking for a home where she can be the only pet and have all of the attention to herself. She is looking for a home where people are around for the majority of the day as she loves having company and is very cuddly. We really do hope that she finds his forever home soon as she really does have so much love to give.
