Meet Phillip, a handsome boy estimated to be around 4 years old. He was brought to us as a stray and although he was adopted, he was returned due to his behaviour towards visitors in the home. We think he’s a mix of a huntaway and a collie, but one thing is for sure: he’s adorable!

Phil can be a bit shy around strangers and he requires a home where the behaviour team’s advice will be followed. He’ll need to have supervised interaction with new people and for that reason, we can’t place him in a household with children, even visiting ones.

But don’t let that discourage you, Phil is an amazing boy who’s a favorite among our staff and volunteers. He loves running around the paddock and splashing in the paddling pools. Once he gets to know you, he’ll be your loyal companion and will shower you with love and attention. He usually gets along with other dogs, but can take a disliking to some.
