Minnie is a really sweet girl who arrived here at the rescue as a stray. On arrival she was really nervous and wasn’t the biggest fan of human interaction, but after being given chance to settle down, during her stay with us she has come on leaps and bounds in a short space of time and now loves to sit and have cuddles! She is a vocal girl and anybody that knows staffys will know the chatter! Minnie seems to be more wary of men than women but with calm, slow and gentle introductions she will come around quite quickly. Minnie can be a very vocal girl when out on walks when she sees other dogs, so needs to be the only pet in the home. Due to her being quite a timid and sensitive girl, we are ideally looking for a home with sensible older teenagers who can be patient with her and give her the time that she requires to settle in properly. Minnie has been in a foster home for a few days at a time and the feedback has been so beneficial for us to rehome Minnie. We are told, she is fully housetrained and will let you know when she wants to go out, she is happy to be left for a few hours at a time, as long as she has some toys and things to occupy her. She isn’t overly keen on travelling in the car, but we are trying to spend time with her doing short journeys to help improve this. We really hope that someone falls in love with her soon, as she has so much potential in the right home with people who can give her all the love and time she deserves.
