Millie originally arrived at the rescue as a stray. We then rehomed her but unfortunately she was returned to us due to her behaviour in the home. She is looking for a patient owner that can spend time coming up to get to know her and understand her needs. A home with children aged 14+ would also be best suited to Millie, so she can have space when she needs it. Her new owners need to understand that she wants fuss on her own terms and requires a good solid routine with strict boundaries, so she doesn’t become too overly confident in the home.  She highly dislikes other dogs and has had a few incidents with them out and about when she has been allowed to become too close, so she needs to be the only pet in the home. She will require a home where she can have quiet but long walks in areas where there aren’t too many dogs around, so she can enjoy herself and not get overly stressed. She is a sweet girl and just needs someone to give her the time to settle in and not rush things. Millie is in need of basic lead training and house training, but the staff will give her new owners help with this. Millie would love a nice sized garden that is well secure, so she can explore and have a good run around. She will play all day in our paddock and has shown enthusiasm with the agility equipment. Millie will become a great addition to owners that can give her the time and space she needs to settle in, so we hope she doesn’t have to wait long for her new family to turn up.
