Junior is a striking bull mastiff cross who came to the rescue as he struggled to adjust to a new baby in his previous home. Given his size and his previous experience, we are seeking a home with sensible children 14+ and people who are already familiar with larger breeds. He is a loving and friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people. Although he is a Mastiff cross, he is more medium sized.

Junior is quick to bond and is really lovely and affectionate with people. We are searching for a home where he can be the only pet since he has had some negative experiences with other dogs which has led to him being reactive to them. Also, he’s not a fan of heavy traffic; hence, we are seeking a quieter location where he can feel secure and relaxed as he can lunge at tractors or lorries. When wearing a gencon and with good handling this can help his reactivity.

He loves having a good run around the paddock and having lots of smells so would appreciate a decent-sized garden to play in. Most of all, he enjoys snuggling with his human companions and indulging in lots of treats.

Junior is an easy going lad and we think he will be quite lazy in the home, he is the type of dog that would enjoy lazing around and pottering around the garden. He does enjoy his walks but can get stressed if it is in a busy area, so ideally would need quiet walks.

Junior has built a strong fan base at the rescue, and he’s sure to win the hearts of his new family.
