Elsie is a gorgeous girl who came to the rescue as a stray. She is a very bouncy girl who doesn’t seem to have had much input. She is mostly deaf which makes her training a little more complex. She does know some hand signals which help to calm her down and sit. She likes other dogs, and so we do feel going with another dog may help her training but she does come very full on. She is a daft girl who will let you take toys from her, however, she does have a cheeky side and loves to make a game out of coming back when she is off lead in our secure paddock. She does get easily fixated especially on moving objects, even leaves blowing! She is very strong on lead and needs training in this area, we are currently trying different options to manage this. Elsie won’t be the easiest dog to manage, however, she has so much potential and her character really is lovely. Due to her size and lack of manners, we would be looking for a home with older children in their teens who will want to get involved in her training.
