Woof! I'm Dolly and I am a nervous girl who needs time to build trust.

Dolly is an anxious girl who came to the rescue as a stray. She was absolutely terrified on arrival and took some persuading to become friends.

She is very food motivated so we have been working on her issues with strangers by everyone she meets giving her lots of treats. This will need to be kept up in her new home and Dolly must not be allowed to approach people off lead that she does not know.

Off lead in our paddock, she is super playful and loves burning off some steam. As she was a stray, we are unaware as to whether she is house trained, but on arrival she was clean in her kennel so we do think she is likely to be housetrained.

Dolly seems very anxious of other dogs, and although we have started to work on this with her, we would be looking for a home as the only pet in a home without children – where her owners are calm and confident and can build Dolly’s self esteem.

Dolly is a firm favourite with the staff at kennels. We would love to see her in her own home.

Underneath her fear – she is a sweet girl who deserves a second chance!
