Introducing Chase, who is full of life and character! We believe that with the right approach, he has the potential to be a fantastic companion. Chase originally came to the rescue after showing aggression towards a child, so we are looking for an Adult Only home for him. He has been rehomed twice before but was returned due to showing aggression in certain situations. Our team will discuss these incidents with potential adopters to ensure they are fully aware of Chase’s needs and can work with him in a safe and effective way.
Despite his challenges, Chase is generally a friendly little guy once he knows you. However, we do ask that anyone interested in adopting Chase is willing to listen to and work with our rehoming and behaviour team to ensure that strict routines and boundaries are in place for him. Building a relationship of trust is essential with Chase, so handling him should be done at his own pace. He gets overwhelmed when their is too much going on around him, so is looking for a quite home, where he can have his own space when he needs it.
He loves nothing more than to explore across the fields and ideally a small holding with plenty of outdoor space would be best suited to his needs.
Chase has been around various dogs over time and is hit and miss with introductions, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, but for socialising to continue when out on walks calmly and safely.
