Woof! I'm Charlie and I'm a typical collie in many ways. For someone who knows collies - I will be easy! ;)

Charlie is a gorgeous boy who came to the rescue due to his owner’s ill health. He can be a little unsure of people at times and can be growly if he is unsure.

There has been no escalation of this but due to this, we will be looking for a home with no children and no visiting children. He can also be slightly guarded around his food – again, there has been no escalation but we will need a home where this behaviour is respected and he is given time to trust.

He is a sweet and insecure lad who will need a home where he gets a lot of daily exercise and stimulation as well as mental stimulation in order to keep him happy. He is great off lead in our paddock and LOVES chasing after a tennis ball. He does not love to give it back, however, so we currently work on a swap system. He’s not daft!!!

His recall isn’t great, and so he would need to have some work in this area. We have cat tested him, and although he wasn’t brilliant, we do feel that with the right set up, he could get used to living with a cat. He is a gorgeous boy who, in the right home, has the potential to be an amazing companion.
