Callie is a sweet girl who arrived with us as a stray and unfortunately wasn’t claimed. She can be a nervous girl around new people – particularly men, but she has improved massively since she first came in. Over her time with us we have noticed she can be nervous in new circumstances and can get quite overwhelmed when there is a lot going on, so she is looking for a child free home with a nice calm environment for her to settle. Callie does not like other dogs up close, so is looking to be the only pet in the home. When walked in a controled manner, she will happily pass dogs nearby and is very treat driven which helps with her training and listens to instructions. She does seem to be quite clean in her kennel, suggesting she is housetrained, but she may have a few accidents in the beginning, so advice and guidance will be given to any potential new adopters. Once she knows you, she is a really sweet girl who loves nothing more than a good zoom around our paddocks and to finish off with a nice cuddle. Callie really deserves a home where she will be able to build her confidence and we hope she won’t have to wait long.
