Bailey recently found herself in the rescue due to being found wandering as a stray, her people unfortunately never claimed her, so she is now waiting for her new family to come to take her home. She is a little sweetie and being slightly older, likes wandering around, sniffing everything and doing things in her own time. When she arrived, she had infections in both of her ears and has since had them sorted out, but we realised she is almost completely deaf. She is looking for a home with a patient owner, who can teach her some sign language and give her plenty of time to settle down. She likes it when we sit on the floor with her and she will come over for some attention, then climb onto your knee for a cuddle. She does walk well next to most dogs, she has been off lead in a few mixes in our paddock she loves nothing more than to run around and play, sometimes can get a little grumpy with some dogs so new owners need to continue with her socialisation. We are looking for a home with children aged 12+ due to her being older and needing her own space at times, but that they can be involved in her training and walking. She will happily chase a ball but looses interest very quickly, if it means she can get her nose into something better.
