Arina is a very sweet girl who is starting to come out of her shell with staff after being very nervous.

She is quite an anxious girl meeting new people but once she feels comfortable with you she will let you know by giving you a lick after sniffing you out.

She walks very well on lead and is typically clean in her kennel so should be fairly well house trained. She can be anxious out on walks especially in places where there is a lot of traffic. Due to her anxious behaviour causing her to be a flight risk and her prey drive she would need to be kept on lead when out on walks. She came into our care after slipping her lead out on a walk and being loose for several days.

She has met a few calm dogs out on her walks with us and we have not seen any issues so far but we will continue to assess this during her stay with us. We do think she may have the potential to live with another calm dog if compatible.

Ideally someone with Chow Chow experience or a similar breed would be what Arina needs.

Due to her being a nervous girl we are looking for a quiet adult only home for her where she can settle. Potential adopters for Arina would need to be willing to come up to the rescue a few times to build up trust with her.
